Eeek...I know how it is. I just got in a bad accident on Tuesday. I was driving home from school, and after I dropped off my friend I stopped sign. After I waited for the traffic to clear (and I had the legal right of way) I went. There was a city snowplow truck across the road, perpendicular to my car, but he wasn't moving and I had more than enough room to go through. But I guess after I went he started backing up and smashed right into the drivers' side of my car. When the police came he admitted that it was his fault. So he wasn't hurt at all but my left arm has been hurting since then, and I have to go to physical therapy after school today (that's where I am...school). My parents are considering filing a suit for negligence, property damage, personal injury, pain and suffering, and emotional distress, but I don't know if we will. As for my car...I found out yesterday it's fixable, but the whole drivers' side was dented, the left window was completely shattered, the windshield was cracked, the front left headlight was smashed, and the front right-side tire was flattened with the rim and hubcap popped out (not off, out). The whole thing has been a very stressful ordeal for my whole family. I'm thankful it wasn't worse...I could have been very badly injured.
